Spongebob and Little Gary Cakes

This last weekend I had the privilege of baking the birthday cakes for my friends 2 sons. They had a Spongebob theme and so of course, I made Spongebob and Little Gary... accompanied by sand and ocean cupcakes.

It was so much fun making these - I can't wait for my next project!

Build a Bear Cake - Go Giants!

This weekend a friend asked me to make her son's birthday cake. We decided on the "Build a Bear" cake, dressed in a Giants Baseball Jersey complete with Baseball cupcakes. I need more practice... but was still happy with the results and got a ton of compliments!

Toffee Flavors

Well my latest addition to the Momme Toffee site was a fun creation, based off of my love for the salty and sweet!

Pretzel Toffee - Pretzels covered in toffee and chocolate... or without the chocolate if you wish ;)

It was family approved and now I am very excited about this flavor, and can't wait to get samples out to everyone.

Cookies

So I was in front of the TV... cooking show on - shocker - I know!! and they were making Chocolate chip cookies. Everyones favorite - right? So I starting thinking about all of the countless times I had baked them, the good and the bad ones. One time I used baking powder instead of baking soda... not so good without the salt.

Anyways, I was trying to think of the best cookies I had ever made - well I could not say cause they were a mess up in the kitchen (the best kind I must say) and well anyways, I don't recall what made them so great???

Well now its time to recreate that awesome chocolate chip cookie.
The mission is on -I will keep you posted on the results.
